Current Status: He has a fracture at the base of his skull and injury through C7. They inserted a drain to help remove the blood from it. Earlier today - it *lightened* up. He also has an ICP monitor - To keep watch on his Intracranial Pressure. It was OK last night - but today the numbers have risen. He is in a medically induced coma, but now they will restrict all external stimuli to try and keep it *quiet*. Earlier this morning - his left lung collapsed, but that is not unusual when a patient is intubated. Talley is a tough cookie - and she is hanging in there! Her Mom is on her way to help with the kids. Kids are worried - but went to school today. Talley was able to show them a picture of Dad, so they would have an idea of what is going on with him. Hes still in the *first 24 hrs* window - these next 4 days will be tough, but they are hoping to be able to wake him up by then. Ill keep you all posted, as she keeps me posted - until she feels up to posting herself.
