Current Trevecca men’s soccer player Matt Raines is playing this summer for the Panama City Beach Pirates. The Pirates are 10-2-1 and Raines has helped with three goals and three assists and is tops on the team in points. The Pirates defeated IMG Academy Friday and are the top team in the South Eastern Region and No. 11 in the country. They have one final game, Sunday, before heading off to the 2013 PDL Southern Conference Playoffs in Austin, Texas. Raines scored his third goal of the year in Friday’s match, it like the rest of his goals have all been game winners.
