Interviews to be held 24 September 2013 Hours: 30 hours per week Salary: £23,000 (Band H) Are you up for the challenge? Family Space is an exciting joint venture between Cheltenham YMCA and 4 local churches in west Cheltenham and currently runs a range of support programmes for families. The present manager is retiring within the next 12 months and this appointment is with a view to take on that role in due course. We are looking for a Manager Designate to work with the existing Manager to acquire detailed knowledge of existing operations. Initial responsibilities of the role will include management of the Cheltenham Child Contact Centre, identifying and securing funding and raising the profile of Family Space. The successful candidate will be expected to devise a vision for Family Space for the next 5 years which the trustees buy into and then to lead the organisation in implementing a strategy that is in line with the vision in the years to come. The role may become full time at a later date.
