Current pet peeve: people selling library technology products who cannot answer basic questions and do not seem to actually use their products. Am I unreasonable in thinking that someone demoing a library catalog product should be able to tell me from what MARC field they are pulling specific data? It is very frustrating when a product seems to be a good one but the demo is so inept it puts people off. OK, rant is over. Thanks for listening :)
