Currently one of the top News stories in the media is of a young Black Man from America who leap over the struggles of his people on two continents (Africa and America) and somehow winds up fighting for an Arab cause in Syria. Even though he told his uncle he was taking a trip to Turkey. According to his cousin Kenyatta McCain she told the Minneapolis Star Tribune that she had spoken to McCain as recently as Friday and “he was telling all of us he was in Turkey. I know that he had strong Muslim beliefs,” she told the newspaper. “But I didn’t know that he was in support of ISIS. I didn’t think he would be.” I believe her hunch is correct. I would not put it past our government to use an agent to lure him from Turkey across the border to Syria to be murdered in order to give credence to their latest boogeyman ISIS as an international terrorist networks. What would make believe such a thing? The same reason you will believe an ex-convict robbed a grocery store. once a criminal always a criminal. Even if he reforms the public will always believe the worst of someone with a criminal record. Has America reformed in terms of entrapping young Black Men? Well look at this video and judge for yourself. For now I give our little Brother Douglas the benefit of the doubt, that he had no intention to go to Syria to fight on behalf of a terrorist group. Since 9/11, though the FBI have not found terrorist cells in the Black American community, in order to justify their illegal spying (phone tapping, email hacking, etc), they have had to create false terrorist threats. This video by Aljazeera documents a confessional entrapment story. There are also American journalist that uncovered similar entrapment stories in Newburgh, N.Y. and other parts of America.
