Currently sitting at home with intense chest pains, sinus congestion, sore throat/no voice, sneezing, coughing and basically dealing with the most debilitating illness. I hate being sick but I know that Ive been overdoing it: Friday night I drove to Benton Harbor for dinner with my family, woke up early and drove to New Buffalo to judge pageants, drove back to BH to make rounds visiting family/friends homes. I got the idea to go visit my biological dads family at 7pm and was on the highway driving my siblings down to Fort Wayne, Indiana to see them by 8:30. I hadnt been there for approximately 5 years so I spent every second with my 6 year old twin half-sisters, my step family and my grandma and then drove back to Benton Harbor that afternoon to make Sunday Service. After church, instead of napping I did homework and got Miss Benton Harbor apparel together for my banquet this week and hopped back on the highway to Grand Rapids (and Denaryl came with). Monday I had school and work with no breaks from 9am to 8pm. I stayed up Monday night having a pizza party with my Brother and Bestie and doing a quiz. Yesterday I had class by 7:45am and meetings and then spent the afternoon rewashing my hair and getting dressed for the gala. Post-event last night I intended to hang out on the town turning up with my Brother but fell asleep in the car and woke up at home. Got up at 5:45 this morning to take my brother to the airport and by the time I got home my body was shutting down on me. This is what happens when you trade yoga and asparagus for driving and McDonalds. Ive been in bed ALL day. -_- I havent done homework, sent emails or made this rest multipurpose. Ive literally slept and had tea and soup all day. I am trying to get better for my 9pm meeting lol but its not looking like Ill make it. I HATE BEING SICK but I can not sit idle and not make the most of every second of my day.
