Currently the Scots have their own parliament but not their own - TopicsExpress

Currently the Scots have their own parliament but not their own currency. Having your own currency is supposed to be the hallmark of an independent nation (which is why the UK rejected the Euro and Central European bank), as is the ability to make your own laws and not have most of them made abroad. It is hard to argue the case for the Scots to stay in the UK (thus accepting Westminster laws and a common currency) and simultaneously make the case for the UK to leave the EU because we no longer wish the majority of our laws to be diktats from Brussels and because we do not wish to be forced into the Eurozone..... UKIPs position on the union is therefore illogical. Any comments?
