Customer Service Administrator - The Garlic Farm Salary: £7.50 per hour Contract Term: Permanent Contract Type: Full time Location: Newchurch Posted on 26 November 2014 Closing Date: Wednesday 3rd December Job Start Date: ASAP Administration / Customer Service / General Office The Garlic Farm are looking for a Customer Service Administrator to join the team at our renowned visitor attraction in Newchurch. This position requires someone with a strong customer service background, who enjoys working with the general public and dealing with a range of diverse enquiries. The Garlic Farm is a popular place to visit for islanders and visitors and can get very busy throughout the peak seasons, therefore you should also enjoy being a part of a busy team, and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service. This is a full time permanent position, offering 25 days plus bank holidays per year, and pay of £7.50 per hour. Hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (37.5 hour week, occasionally more hours may be required to meet business demand.) Duties: Front line customer support to promptly and efficiently answer calls, emails, post, and any other general enquiries and provide follow up calls as required. Maintaining a high level of customer service at all times. Track and deal with lost parcels using set procedures. Provide additional administration support to other team members as and when required. Process all aspects of retail and wholesale orders (full training of systems will be given). Offer advice and guidance on all aspects of growing and using garlic (full training will be given). Manage and resolve customer complaints and identify and escalate priority issues. Liaise with stock control and pack house as required. Pro-actively follow up client leads to initiate new wholesale customers, meeting sale targets. We are looking for someone who: Is punctual, reliable, positive and upbeat. Has great attention to detail. Is pro-active with the ability to focus on practical solutions. Is flexible, adaptable and able to deal with all types of people. Is a confident PC user. Is competent in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of Sage50 Accounts and Microsoft PowerPoint would be an advantage.
