Customer Service Story #2. While car was getting repaired, we had a rental car from Enterprise Car Rental on Patrick Street in Charleston (BTW, if youre paying for rental car out-of-pocket because youre not having your car repaired through your insurance company--which we did not because we have a $1000 deductible and the repair bill was only $300--Enterprise will not pick you up. Maybe its just here, but Im just saying). Anyway, things were a bit rushed as I needed to get back to the body shop to fill out paper work for the job; Enterprise was a bit short on vehicles on this day as well. So I get a Dodge Dart thats OK, but not the greatest rental car Ive ever checked out. As Im taking it back to Enterprise this afternoon, I start looking at the interior and to be honest the seats and dash were very dirty with more than a few significant stains, etc. So as I pull up in the lot, there are three or four guys in shirt & tie standing outside catching a smoke and its easy to tell that they work there at Enterprise. As I park the car, one of them greets me and remarks, Youre back pretty quick! (Since Id just rented the car yesterday) So we chat for a few minutes about my satisfaction with the job that Steve at Cross Lanes Collision Center had done on our car. The fellow introduces himself as the manager...so I take the opportunity to show him the cars interior and without any further prompting from me he starts apologizing for the condition of the car and tells me that my rental is going to cost me $0.00, nada. And thats exactly what my receipt says--Nada, zip, zero. Thank you Matt and Enterprise on Patrick Street in Charleston, WV!
