Cute and really its a little thought provoking ... We LOVE our home garden and from every meal we create compost scrapes not just paper packaging .... Ethical animal farms and non-chemical treated produce are so obviously right and natural ..... Supermarkets and big agriculture did not really exist before 1946 or so ....prior to that food was mostly local and home grown. Its a big hungry planet but little individual efforts matter .....The pace of life is more serine , seasonally conscious and feels more earth connected when you take part in growing your own food , even if its just a little garden ...I started 30 something years ago and have had all the failures etc. but It really is not that difficult ...just start and keep at it ...its satisfying to nurture a garden and wonderful to reap the rewards ! ( plus you get out side and sweat a little ) ! We are enjoying an abundance of tomatoes , peppers, squash, green and purple and yellow garden beans, fresh herbs, cucumber, potatoes, lots of berries , sugar peas , limas , field peas , etc. etc. and more and sharing with friends and family , putting up pickles and filling the freezer..... all from the backyard in a suburban (no covenant) neighborhood in a basically 50 ft. by 50 ft. space......It aint fancy but it works ! Come see us we love to share seeds , know how and show off the garden .... !
