Cutting and pasting about an upcoming event: Dear All Apologies if you have received this invitation more than once. Please can you forward this to people within your teams for their attendance, and to book a place please contact myself or Sally Richardson on the email address below. Regards Mandy Invite for Distribution – As Directors and Learning Community Leads Joyce Thacker has asked if you could distribute the email below to invite front line staff working in the Thrybergh/Dalton/East Herringthorpe learning communities to attend awareness training as below. Welfare Reform and Benefit Changes Update Benefit changes under the Welfare Reform Act 2012 are affecting thousands of people and families across Rotherham and will affect thousands more over the next few years. Rotherham Council and Partnership have identified welfare reform as a key issue facing the Borough and are committed to helping those who are affected. This session will provide the latest information on benefit changes taking place or planned, their likely impact in Dalton, Thrybergh and East Herringthorpe, and who to signpost people to. This will be useful to all those working in schools or other local services who may find themselves dealing with people affected by welfare reform. Joyce Thacker would like to invite you to attend a training session regarding Welfare Reform and Benefit Changes to be held as follows: Date: 16th July, 2013 Time: 3.30 p.m. Venue: Thrybergh Comprehensive School (Hall) For further information please contact Miles Compton on [email protected] and to confirm attendance please contact either Miles or Mandy Ardron ([email protected]) or Sally Richardson at Thrybergh Comprehensive (s.richardson@thrybergh) . Many thanks, Janet.
