Cyclist in Newport? Newport Officers are advising cyclists coming to the town centre to make sure they keep their bikes and valuables safe and secure. If you need to bring your bike onto the City Centre, please make every effort to secure it with a solid bike lock. Make sure any bags are zipped shut or secured to prevent thieves ‘dipping’ in to steal your valuables. Officers are continuing to patrol the City Centre and are dealing with suspects and offenders but please try and prevent yourself from being a victim of crime by following this advice.
