Cystic Fibrosis Research, Inc. ~ Partners in Living Invitation to Participate in Research: The Experiences of People Living With Cystic Fibrosis Insight Safari, LLC is a market research company specializing in healthcare. We are partnering with Atlantis Healthcare, a company that develops and delivers patient support programs, by conducting market research within the Cystic Fibrosis community. As part of this research, we would like to invite you to participate in a 45-minute telephone interview at a date and time of your convenience in June 2014. About the study This is a national research study that is being conducted to better understand the experiences of people living with Cystic Fibrosis. Atlantis Healthcare will use the findings to create new support materials for the sponsoring pharmaceutical company that can help patients better manage their disease and related treatments. As part of this research we will talk to people with Cystic Fibrosis from around the country to share their perspectives. We will also talk to Caregivers of family members with Cystic Fibrosis, as well as doctors and/or nurses to learn about their experiences supporting people with Cystic Fibrosis. Can anyone who wants to take part? Atlantis Healthcare is looking to talk with people who: Are 17 years of age or older Are living with Cystic Fibrosis or Are caring for a patient with CF Are currently being treated with KALYDECO® (ivacaftor) or Are caring for a patient being treated with KALYDECO® (ivacaftor) How will the information you provide be used? This is a genuine piece of research and will be conducted in accordance with best practice guidelines. The research materials have been carefully designed to fully respect your experiences and allow you to share your point of view. The interview will be recorded to help us analyze the discussion. There will be no attempt to sell anything and the information gathered will be used for research purposes only. Any information you provide will be anonymous, and you will not be identified by name in the research report. The report will be provided to the pharmaceutical company that is sponsoring this research. The information you share will not be passed on to the healthcare professional overseeing your Cystic Fibrosis care. Will people who participate get any compensation?
