MOBILE DEVELOPER INTERN - BOSTON LOCATION Boston, MA RESPONSIBILITIES Were looking for mobile app hackers, with the proven ability to design apps, comb through stackoverflow and solve problems. Due to the very personal nature of mobile apps, we expect a general commitment to writing software that keeps our customers happy. Since our SDK gets embedded with other mobile apps, some of the concurrency and threading are our core value expected to be offered. As a mobile developer co-op, you will have access to mentorship from our entire engineering team. You will also develop software that has a direct impact on our end user experience as well as get to work closely with automating our testing efforts. You will also be exposed to several other server side technologies which is broadly on Java stack. QUALIFICATIONS Experience or projects developing mobile apps Mobile App Analytics SDK, Ad SDK or open sources SDK’s are a plus Java, and/or iOS mobile software development experience Server-side skills (backend) (nice to have) 2. SENIOR JAVA ENGINEER - BOSTON LOCATION Boston, MA RESPONSIBILITIES As a Java Software Engineer on our team, you will: Design and implement various aspects of several very high-scale Java platform components, some of which handle over 2 billion requests every day (very few engineers can say this). Implement and enhance aspects of our latest UI, which is implemented using HTML5, CSS3, and the Ember.js framework. Bring your creativity to bear by proposing innovative approaches and emerging technologies to ensure our product and technical excellence. Participate in all aspects of an Agile/Scrum based engineering process from sprint planning to retrospective. You will directly impact how we operate as a team because it’s your team. QUALIFICATIONS You bring several years of design and development experience to the table. You possess solid skills in Java EE, JavaScript, JSON, HTML, SQL, Linux, and related open source technologies. Advanced knowledge of JavaScript is a very big plus especially if it includes UI frameworks such as jQuery, Ember.js, or Angular.js. We also use Eclipse, Subversion, Maven, and collaborative build practices, so your experience there will be valued as well. You have an excellent Computer Science background including OO fundamentals and design patterns; you know “why” things are, not just “what” they are. You also know and demonstrate that staying current is a never ending process. You enjoy passing knowledge on and believe as we do that everyone has something to teach and something to learn. You possess solid skills in Java under Android specifically, JavaScript, JSON, HTML, and related open source technologies. You are not someone who is just dabbling in Android apps. Our software is embedded in some of the most widely distributed apps in the world, so you understand we need the best. You have an excellent Computer Science background including OO fundamentals and design patterns; you know “why” things are, not just “what” they are. You also know and demonstrate that staying current is a never ending process. You enjoy passing knowledge on and believe as we do that everyone has something to teach and something to learn.
