D~I have been a bit random about posting my updates, sorry to keep you all hanging. It has been a bit daunting these last few days because I want to share happy news, not the sad stuff. But, here we go... Yes, we are still in the hospital. We did bloodwork around noon yesterday after having an overnight dose of Neupogen to boost that bone marrow. Small change in the ANC...she is up to 20. It is small but mighty, just like her. Any movement upwards at this point, is promising. The rest of her bloodwork shows to be stable, however she did receive platelets yesterday. She is eating small amounts and after weighing her, has only lost 2 lbs since hospitalization. ( we gained 3 lbs during our week at home, so we are still 1 pound ahead!) No fevers for days now, and no vomiting. The nausea remains, but not as severe. Yesterday we were to meet with our surgeon, Dr Kelly, in Denver for therapy orders. Bummed. But we spoke by phone with her assistant, and might have a plan in place today. They arent concerned. She was already ahead of the game in her leg progress. Whew! She was angry to miss that appt! But, it is all good. She received a second dose of Neupogen last night and once again, we are anxious for results. We should know by early afternoon. Today is the last day of volleyball tryouts and she is DEVASTATED to be unable to be in the gym with her team and supporting them, this week. Girls....and Dennis (lol) she misses you!!! Hope you have had a good week of skills tests and are ready for the season!🐻🐾💛 Sending big hugs and great love and appreciation to our visitors of the last few days, expected and unexpected. For the most part she hasnt been up for visitors at all. I kind of forced the issue the last couple of days. Mary Gould, thanks for the gift certificates! It will be fun when the 2 of us can go for a pedicure together.💗 Kathy Young, it was fun to hear about the escapades of you and Chloe on your big adventure! Jeano, every visit with you ends up in giggles and they were refreshing to hear from Amelia! xoxo Wendi Olsen, thanks for popping in! Massage soon, I promise. Friends, please continue to pray for our friend Nick...he will be going back to Houston to have his entire lung removed and some new heated chemo. It is so scary for his family, but he is amazingly brave and ready!! Keep his momma,Tracey, in your prayers as well as their family. She is so inspiring to me...Tracey Floyd IS the definition of Super Mom!!! Surgery is Sept 2. Update as I know something! Happy Friday~
