D chairman of d Independent National Electoral Commission,Prof.Attahiru Jega,has listed challenges facing d commission ahead of d 2015 general elections according to findings esteem folks.Jega,who listed d challenges in an interactive forum wit media in Abj on Wednesday,also said dat d recent governorship election in Ekiti State was not militarized.Listing d challenges ahead of 2015 elections,he said dat they included,Insecurity,funding,attitudes of political class,apathetic nd inactive citizenry,delay in amendment to d legal framework,completion of d review of electoral constituencies nd polling units nd prosecution of election offenders.He,however,said dat d commission had carried out some reforms,whch had led to d success of d Ekiti governorship election.Listing to wht he said,These challenges are not insurmountable nd we wil spare no effort to ensure dat aspirations of Nigerians for free,fair,credible nd peaceful elections are actualized in 2015,Jega said.He disclosed dat d commission had started issuing permanent voter cards to all duly registered voters.Jega said dat d PVCs whch were used during d Ekiti State governorship election,wud bswiped wit card readers in 2015 elections to ensure 100 per cent verification nd authentication of voters.He added dat security agencies shld ensure dat there was peace so dat esteem people wud cum out nd vote.Jega also faulted a report dat INEC wud not conduct 2015 elections in Borno,Adamawa nd Yobe state bcos of d state of emergency d Federal Government had declared in d states.I guess u citizen wud cum out nd vote for d criminal politicians we hve in dis country?
