DADDY You called me your daughter. I called u daddy with love Even though biologically u were not. You showed me the house,“said this was my new home.” Oh! How I felt at home. This new world,new place... Perfect I would describe it As a little girl I thought. Could never imagine what not. Caught a glimpse of mummy. Never seen her so happy. That fateful night you walked into my room. Like every other night. A kiss goodnight is what I envisioned. Not knowing it was my illusion. Close you came and told me if I screamed,it would be my last. You pulled away my blanket,tears of fear rolled down my cheeks. I felt alone,cold in this dark moment. Oh! Mummy where are you!!!? I screamed. He said “she is in a place where she cant hear you.” You undressed me,touched my skin,painted my body with memories that would haunt me for days to come. You took my love and gave me hate. You took my innocence and gave me guilt. You took my braveness and gave me fear. You took my happiness and gave me sadness. You took my everything and gave me nothing. You left me like an old rag. As I recall when we met. You called me your daughter. I called you daddy with love.
