DAILY BREAD FOR THURSDAY, JUNE 13, 2013 Mark 6:34 When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things. PRAYER: Jesus, everyday you are hear to speak to me. Well aware of what I’m going through in my life you seek to guide me with your wisdom. Well aware of what is about to happen today you desire to strengthen my faith and increase my courage. Yet I don’t always take time to open your Word. I fail to realize sometimes that my excuses actually deprive me of the direction you yearn to give me. Help me form good habits that revolve around using more time to read and listen to your comforting words of forgiveness and your practical advice for daily living. As a result may I offer similar compassion to those around me by offering the promises of your love! In your holy name I pray. Amen.
