DAILY BREAD Lazarus Ministry THE GREATEST INVESTMENT March 11th, 2014 You will show me the path of life. In Your presence is fullness of joy. At Your right hand are pleasures forever more. (Psalm 16:11) In another version, the scripture reads,You lead me in the path of life; I experience absolute joy in your presence; you always give me sheer delight. Peters also uses this Psalm in his own words in Acts 2:28,You have made known to me the paths of life; you will make me full of joy with your presence. The path of life is found through Gods Word, Jesus. Psalm 119:105 says,Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. If you seek God, you will find Him and in His presence you will find joy to the utmost. There is no greater joy than to be in the very presence of God. How do you reach Him? Through Jesus. The only way to the Father is through the Son. Jesus broke down the barrier that was between us and God through what He did for us on the cross. Now we can come boldly to the throne of grace to obtain mercy in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). The right side of God signifies strength and power, a position of strength and authority. Eye has not seen nor has ear heard nor has entered into the heart of man that which God has prepared for those who love Him (1 Cor. 2:9). We have it all in Jesus. There is no lack, no less, no torment, no insecurity, no rejection, no suffering. In His presence is fullness of joy! God desires relationship with His children. As in all relationships, they grow with time and deepen as the two get to know each other better. It is the same with us and God. As we get to know Him more and deeper, we realize just how perfect and beautiful and wonderful He is. Our trust and reliance on Him grows stronger with each passing day. The first step into this relationship is speaking out to Him that you would like to know Him by acknowledging His Son Jesus and accepting and receiving what He has done on the cross and through being raised from the dead for us. What a wonderful friendship begins when we identify ourselves with Christ and Him alone. There is nothing more wonderful than knowing Jesus. The most important relationship one will ever have is the relationship with God Almighty. This is truly the greatest and most fruitful investment one can make!
