Sorry, but this club is closed for additional sign-ups. LIBRARY CLUB: starts TODAY until 3:15 PM. Please get a pass from your teacher and sign up in the Library before NOON. CHESS CLUB: Chess Club will be starting on Thursday, October 3rd in Room 217 (Green House). If anyone has a chess set that they can donate or lend, it would be greatly appreciated. Please see Mrs. Procopio in Room 217 if you have any questions. JOURNALISM CLUB: If you are an 8th Grade Student with a “nose for news”, then we want you to join the new Journalism Club and help create a DMS School Newspaper. We need reporters, lay-out staff and illustrators. Sign up sheets are posted outside the House Offices. The first meeting will be Monday, October 7th in Room 308. Please see Mrs. Colnes in Room 308 (Red Hall) if you have any questions. VOLLEYBALL CLUB: All 6th, 7th & 8th Grade boys/girls interested in joining the Volleyball Club, please sign up at your House Office on the sheet designated for YOUR grade. Listen to the morning announcements next week for more information. RENAISSANCE CLUB: Our first meeting will be on Monday, October 7th in Room 508 until 3:15 PM; don’t forget a late bus pass. Any questions, see Mrs. Eckert. All are invited; this is a no cost club. STUDENT REMINDER: Students are NOT permitted to wear cleats in the building. Also, please remember DO NOT PROP OPEN ANY ENTRY DOORS. Thank you. MUSIC: Band & Orchestra Students: Music lessons have started. Please make sure that you bring your Instrument to school on your lesson day. The first After School Orchestra Rehearsal will be TODAY. The first After School Band Rehearsal will be on Wednesday, October 9th. Students Interested in Jazz Band: Trumpet, Trombone, Saxophone students can audition for Jazz Band during your normal scheduled lesson time. Piano, Guitar and Drum set players can audition during lunch recess on Friday for Red House Students and on Wednesday for Green House Students All Piano, Guitar and Drum set players must audition by next Friday, October 4th. Orchestra: Rehearsal TODAY after school until 3:15 PM. Please remember to bring your instrument and sign up for the late bus. CHORUS: Sign ups are outside of my classroom (Room 558) on my board. Students can sign up at any time or come see Mr. Eustace if you have any questions.
