DAILY CHALLENGE!!! Mark Chapter 2 Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus by digging through it and then lowered the mat the man was lying on. (vs. 2) Wow-to have friends like this. Friends whose determination to bring their friend to Jesus caused them to rip apart someone else’s roof (and hopefully put it back together). Friends, who went more than out of their way to bring their friend to Jesus, wow. Causes some real life questions for us: are we like this paralyzed man’s friends? The paralyzed man did not have the means to get to Jesus-so his friends-who knew Jesus made sure he got to Jesus. Friends, many of our friends do not have the means to go to Jesus themselves. Think for yourself, someone probably brought you to Jesus and most likely went out of their way. Let’s follow the example of the paralyzed man’s friends and rip apart any barriers that are between our friends and Jesus. This is what I have gotten out of the text-how about you Have a great day everyone.
