DAILY. COLUMN ------------------------ This time when I went for VIPASSANA that was in mid of May and till I came back from my holidays that was late Aug You can say a span of more than four months . I could not meet my mom . Within I was very restless . She was in Mussorie and this time I do not know Why ? I am so nostalgic for Mussorie Ek Satsang toh Banta hai Mussorie mei ! Anyhow I feel childish when I meet my mother . ITNAE BAEFIKRI KAE DIN HOTAE THAE MAA JAAGTI THI AUR HUM SOTAE THAE ! I never realized ever before my marriage what amount of work my mother used to do . All realizations come after marriage ,especially when I became mom . The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new. NAASHTAE SAE LAEKAR RAAT KO BISTAR TAK KABHI NAHI SOCHA KITNI MEHNAT HUI HAI KABHI KADR NAHI KI Really ! I feel very bad when people say AAP HOUSE WIFE HO ,AAP KARTAE HI KYA HO ! The phrase working mother is redundant. . Being a full-time mother is one of the highest salaried jobs in my view ,since the payment is pure love. ! Many times I used to see her standing in a kitchen making pie for us and When she sees that there are only four pieces of pie for five people, promptly used to announce she never did care for pie. She had a twinkle on seeing us relishing pie . Today ! When I entered my daughters room and saw her sleeping . I really thanked my mom because that was the time when I had no responsibilities and too slept , just like this ,(soundly ) because of her . Today ! Where I am it is just because of you MOM AAJ FURSAT HO BHI TABH BHI AEISE SUKOON WALI NEEND NAHI AA SAKTI ! No language can express the power, and beauty, and heroism, and majesty of a mother’s love. Total unconditional ! If the whole world were put into one scale, and my mother in the other, the whole world would kick the beam . I remember my mother’s prayers and they have always followed me. They have clung to me all my life. Some mothers are kissing mothers and some are scolding mothers, but it is love just the same, and most mothers kiss and scold together. And that is my mom . Generally daughters are like their mothers so am I . If you have a mom, there is nowhere you are likely to go where a prayer has not already been. Women’s Liberation is just a lot of foolishness. It’s the men who are discriminated against. They can’t bear children. The real religion of the world comes from women much more than from men — from mothers most of all, who carry the key of our souls in their bosoms. The heart of a mother is a deep abyss at the bottom of which you will always find forgiveness. ~ Love you loads MOM ! Mother is a divine gift to a man from God
