DAILY DEVOTIONAL - DAY 3 of 21 DAYS FAST Topic: Your Set Time of Remembrance Text: Isaiah 49; 14 “But Zion said, The Lord has forsaken me, and my Lord has forgotten me.” KJV Memory Verse: Isaiah 49:15 “Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yea, they may forget yet will I not forget thee”. KJV Does God actually forget? Isaiah 49:15-16 says God will not forget. To remember is to have or keep an image in your memory of an event, a person, or place etc of the past. To not forget to do something; to actually do what you have to do. God does not forget His own. He has apportioned time to all His works. Sometimes it may look like God has forgotten you with regards to the challenges or situations you are in or the phase you are passing through but in actual sense He hasnt. Eccl 3:11 says He (God) makes all things beautiful in its time. Reading through the Bible there are so many examples of those who waited for His timing and got triple effect of their blessings. They all had significant testimonies. Examples are Hannah and Samuel (1 Sam 1:19), Noah and the Ark (Gen 8:1-6), Moses and the Israelites (Exodus 3:6-12), Rachel and Joseph (Gen 30), Zechariah and John the Baptist (Luke 1:5-17). When God remembers you, then it is your set time to be blessed. He is never slack to His promises. God has tattooed us in His palm (Isaiah 49:16), that means we are ever before Him. He just cannot forget us! He has a glorious destiny for each and every one of us and therefore will bring us to that place no matter the time. God wants to glory in our testimonies. He wants men to acknowledge His greatness and how awesome He is. Delay is not denial. Acknowledge His greatness and everything He has done in the past and praise Him in advance for your miracle. PRAYER: Father I thank You for all You have done for me, I thank You that You have done this before in the lives of others and I know You will also do it for me. Help me to stay in joy while waiting for You in Jesus Name Amen. FURTHER READING: Isaiah 55:8-11 CONFESSION: I have the advantage in Christ Jesus. All things work for my good.
