DAILY DILEMMA Hot V’s Cold Dear Climate Controlled Air-Conditioning at Work – is it me or is it you? The magical spring day of just warm was nowhere to be had, as I sat in the ivory tower of the office building, wondering if I was in Siberia then Fiji? Your temperature fluctuated from what seemed like 2 degrees, then back up again to 28…and back down again! What! My body felt menopausal at times, beading around the temples and claustrophobic, to feeling so cold it was like that gust of cold air that sneaks up on you when walking past the chilled aisle at the supermarket! So I checked with colleagues if this phenomenon was only observed by me, and low and behold, others were feeling the same! Phew! So it wasn’t just me – thank goodness! After all I am only 29 and menopause is a long way away (I hope). Note to cardigan on the back of my chair: Thanks for keeping me warm today!
