DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT 06-03-2014 AS FAR AS THE EAST IS FROM THE WEST By Fred Trokie Psalm 103:12 tells us: As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us. SO JUST HOW FAR IS THE EAST IS FROM THE WEST? Envision a globe of the world if you would, and place your index finger on the North Pole. Now move your finger vertically downward. Which direction are you going in? Your moving your finger in a southward direction. Now if you keep going south eventually you meet up with the South Pole, and if you keep going in the same direction, youll soon notice that you are now going north instead of south. That because the North and the South meet. Now lets try this again, only this time your going to go east to west. Ok lets say that you have to fly around the world starting from New York City. So you fly from: NEW YORK TO PARIS / DIRECTION EASTERLY PARIS TO TOKYO / DIRECTION EASTERLY TOKYO TO HAWAII / DIRECTION EASTERLY HAWAII TO LOS ANGLES / DIRECTION EASTERLY LOS ANGLES TO NEW YORK / DIRECTION EASTERLY Please notice that the North and South always meet, but the East and West never meet. Psalm 103:12 says: 12 As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us. This happens each time we apply 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. After we confess our daily sins to God, He no longer remembers them, they are forever as far as the east is from the west. God Bless - Fred
