DAILY INSIGHT 14:01:205 PROVERB 17:1-28 Everything a man does has reward both now and in eternity. Today, we shall be looking at the repercussion or the side effect of actions and inactions and verse number 13 of our text shall be our focal point. Whoso rewardeth evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house. Study for the Day: Life is in phases and men are in sizes; whatever a man does it shall come back to him. Apostle Paul in his epistle to Galatians 6:7-10 admonished believers thus: Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Your life is a seed and your attitude are the fruits that will grow out to become food for you some day. The ill gotten wealth and the position people forcefully clinched to will leave them one day and they will face the creator. Solomon admonished us in verse 1 that BETTER is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, than an house full of sacrifices with strife. Stop giving heed to false lips and a listening ear to a naughty tongue; remember Solomon the sage said in verse 5 saying Whoso mocketh the poor reproacheth his Maker: and he that is glad at calamities shall not be unpunished. Stop acting the scroll of an evil man, desist from seeking rebellion, strive not to be a cruel messenger of evil change. Politicians should stop rewarding their electorates with treasuries looting, killing, maiming and seeking revenge. Learn to do good by seeking good, follow good and pursue good, promote good and become good. Be a good transformation agent and not a destructive ambassador of cruelty. Remember everything whether Good or Bad has reward and you will leave this corrupt world one day to meet An Impartial God at the Great White Throne Judgement listen to the testimony of a wicked man in Revelation 6:15-17 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? Take time to review your life and bring forth fruit that is meet for repentance. Pray with me Father purge my heart of vain pursuit and renew my life to always think of my end in the name of Jesus. Let your word rule the affair of my life and teach me to be a blessing to my generation in skillfulness and righteousness in the name of Jesus. Lord let every beast in human form aspiring to cause national crisis in Nigeria because of election go down suddenly into the ground alive after the order of Korah, Dathan and Abiram in the name of Jesus. Give us peace in Nigeria and let is show; disappoint and confound every wicked politician with their evil agenda and put them into perpetual silence in Jesus name. Let the party that will win the presidential election remember their campaign promises and fear you with the whole of their hearts in Jesus name. Lord please touch the hearts of all the insurgents and their sponsors to seek peace and pursue it in Jesus name.
