DAILY INSIGHT 25:09:2014 PSALM 60:1-12 Psalmist said in chapter 46 verse number 1 GOD is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. God is the only helper that is not tired of us. We shall be looking at verse number 11 of our text together. Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. Moral lesson: When it appears as if you are forsaken, Look up unto God for it is written in psalm 34:5 They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. God who made the whole earth to tremble is greater than all your mountains and problems and a cry unto him will fizzle out those mountains. Anytime it appears that the situation is out of your control, learn to trust and obey God and real help you need will com from him. God is the best trainer ever who trained the Israelites by his wondrous works in the wilderness for forty years. Whatever you are passing through in the wilderness of your life today is a training which will yield a positive result for you tomorrow if you faint not. Learn to desist from uttering negative words when you are passing through unpleasant situation. Never do like the people of Israel who desired death in their wilderness as against life and they forced God to confirm their speeches in Numbers 14:28-29 Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you: Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward, which have murmured against me, What are you saying about your situation today? Why do you like to confess negative about your situation today? Dont you know you are created after the similitude of unchanging God? Take hold of your life and live responsibly by developing a positive attitude to every battle of life in a godly way. Make up your mind to confess positively to your situation always and live in the consciousness of his promises on daily basis. Appropriate his blessings into your life and live a life that will attract his glory, honour and praise. Pray with me: Father help me marvelously in all my ways and command your greatness to fill my life in the name of Jesus. Be my refuge and buttress in the battle of this life and grant unto me victory over every battle of life in the mighty name of Jesus. As I look up unto you strengthen my heart to dwell in your tabernacle and grant unto me grace to abide under the shadow of the Almighty in the name of Jesus. Lord still all the enemies on my way to greatness and endue me with power that excel beyond generational limit in the name of Jesus. Lord as you train me on my daily pilgrimage help me to write my lesson note with faith and patience in the name of Jesus. Teach me to observe all your statutes and open my ears to be inclined to your instructions to walk in them in the name of Jesus. As I set out today, program my life into abundance and keep my feet from falling in Jesus mighty name; Amen. Good morning and do have a glorious day. Bless you.
