DAILY INSPIRATION! 11-5-2013 COVENANT AGAPE’ (PART 1) “For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of LOVE, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.” (Hebrews 6:10) THE NEW COVENANT=HESED=AGAPE Faith works by love. “For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but FAITH WHICH WORKETH BY LOVE.” (Galatians 5:6) The key to Jesus’ great success in His faith was His ability to totally depend on the Father HESED AND AGAPE! “If ye keep My commandments, ye shall abide in My love; even as I have kept My Fathers commandments, and abide in His love.” (John 15:10) God has spoken to me over and again the simple, yet most profound truth in His Word and in all the world. There is nothing great than I AM! GOD IS LOVE! THEREFORE THERE IS NO POWER AS GREAT IN ALL EXISTENCE THAN LOVE!!! LOVE CONQUERS ALL, LOVE CONQUERS EVERYTHING!!! JESUS WAS NOTHING BUT PURE UNADULERATED LOVE WALKING THE EARTH, AND THROUGH HE DEATH, HIS RESURRECTION, AND HIS ASCENSION INTO HEAVEN, AND SITTING DOWN AT MY RIGHT HAND, HE COMPLETELY STRIPPED AND DESTROYED ALL OF THE POWER THAT SATAN HAS OVER THE BELIEVER!!! LOVE CONQUERED ALL!!! “1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into His rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. 2 For unto us was the Gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the Word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. 3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as He said, As I have sworn in My wrath, IF they shall enter into My rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. 4 For He spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all His works. 5 And in this place again, IF they shall enter into My rest. 6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: 7 Again, He limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts. 8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. 9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 10 FOR HE THAT IS ENTERED INTO HIS REST, HE ALSO HATH CEASED FROM HIS OWN WORKS, AS GOD DID FROM HIS. 11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. 12 FOR THE WORD OF GOD IS QUICK, AND POWERFUL, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do. 14 Seeing then that we have a Great High Priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. 15 For we have not an High Priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, YET WITHOUT SIN. 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the Throne of Grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:1-16)(4:16 The Greerk word ELEOS-MERCY-is traced through “But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have MERCY, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” (Matthew 9:13) and “For I desired MERCY, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.” (Hosea 6:6) to HESED). God considers our ministering to one another in AGAPE-HESED as Covenant love to Him and His name! “10 For God is not unrighteous to forget YOUR WORK AND LABOR OF LOVE, which ye have shewed toward His Name, in that ye have ministered TO THE SAINTS, and do minister. 11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: 12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. 13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no greater, He sware by Himself, 14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. 15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. 16 For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them AN END OF ALL STRIFE. 17 Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath: 18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: 19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil” (Hebrews 6:10-19) “Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.” (Ephesians 6:8) Covenant AGAPE has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. “And hope maketh not ashamed; because the LOVE of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” (Romans 5:5) “And I have declared unto them Thy Name, and will declare it: that the LOVE wherewith Thou hast loved Me may be in them, and I in them.” (John 17:26) People nothing must be clearer, that the more we yield to God Who IS INSIDE OF US, the more we will be yielding to HIS LOVE that has been shed [Greek ekcheō, to pour out, shed forth, to bestow or distribute largely]in our hearts by the Holy Spirit, so that we aren’t merely operating in our own human kind of love, but the very AGAPE LOVE OF GOD!!! THAT LOVE THAT CONQUER ALL, THAT CONQUERS EVERYTHING!!! You are blessed and Jesus is Lord over every area of your life!
