DAILY REFLECTIONS: Do you think life is fair? Is God truly - TopicsExpress

DAILY REFLECTIONS: Do you think life is fair? Is God truly just? Is He trustworthy? The gospel today gives us a good picture on the answers to the above question. In our feeble mind, we sometimes think that life is unfair... And that we are not given what is rightfully ours. In truth, He is indeed a just God. The parable is telling us that Our Lord continuously sets out to call everyone to His kingdom. Each of us will be called at different times but we should be ready at all times. At the end of our journey, we will reap our rewards equally. God will bless us no matter what the circumstances we are in... No matter how lost or how messy our lives... No matter what time we are called as long as were ready to surrender our hearts to Him. At the end of our journey, each of us will receive the ultimate prize. Eternal life. Endless joy. Equal peace. But is this a good reason for us to justify not to do good or follow Him now but maybe wait for tomorrow or maybe next week or next month or wait next year or wait until we are clean??? But just the same as the parable at around 6pm, there will be a time that we have to be accountable with our decisions to follow Him or not. If we do not follow Him, we are the ones turning are back against the Lord. By deciding not to follow Him Now means that we are closing the doors of our hearts to His blessings. But if we do decide to follow Him, we should make the decision now and experience the fullness of His love. And be ready to accept the additional blessings that were opening up for our lives. PRAYER: O loving and eternal Father, we praise you and thank you for you are faithful. For even though we think that you are unfair and we commit sin against you, you are still there ready to accept us and bless us. Like the prodigal son in your parable, help us to realize our faults and to return to your grace. Please give us the wisdom to focus on you and understand that its not about being fair but for us to experience the fullness of your love. You are a fair and just God and we pray to understand that you will not give everything that we want but you will bless us with what we need to fulfill our purpose. In this we ask in your Sons name, Jesus. Amen!!! REFLECTION SONG: This Is Amazing Grace by: Phil Wickham youtu.be/rjXjkbODrro
