DAILY VICTORY DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY, 17TH JANUARY, 2014 ACCESSING THE GOOD OF THE LAND GOLDEN SCRIPTURE: If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land; but if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword; for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it. Isaiah 1: 19 - 20. Redemption is Gods secret card to abundance and total freedom. Redemption provides Gods people with the good of the land which translates their lives into the realm of the days of heaven on earth. When you read about people like Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, David, Daniel etc, you notice they were established in the good of the land. A close look at their lives reveals a life in obedience to the will and purpose of God. Their obedience to God and the demand of the covenant guaranteed their residential permit in the zone of the good of the land. These waxed great and went forward because their access card of obedience with willingness to follow the lord on His own terms was in place. The benefits of willingness and obedience to Gods instructions cannot be overemphasized. Obedience minus willingness will equal to frustration instead of goodness. Obedience is Gods access card or password into the promises of the covenant “And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all the earth – Deut. 28:1. Obedience is the covenant key to the top. Doing the word is what obedience is all about. PRAYER: Lord, help me to walk in obedience to your word.
