DAILY VICTORY DEVOTIONAL SATURDAY JANUARY 17, 2015 TOPIC: WHO IS IN YOUR BOAT? GOLDEN SCRIPTURE: So they left the crowd and took Him along since he was already in the boat and other boats were with Him. Mark 4: 36. Life is like a boat with space to accommodate people and every boat that moves on the water is subject to storms and will experience storm; so is every life on earth. The righteous and the unrighteous experiences the storms of life – Psalm 34:19-21. The distinction is that the righteous has Christ in his boat and vice versa. The personality in your boat will decide who you will call or wake up during the storms of life. Some persons have welcomed wrong persons in their boat and have woken up wrong persons for help. One of the greatest tragedies in life is to have the wrong person in your boat and to wake up a person who does not have power over storms of life, to calm it down. Is Jesus in your boat? If anybody other than Jesus is in your boat, you are doomed forever. Many people have faced disappointments in their lives by waking up in the middle of a storm to discover that the person in their boat cannot calm their storms. Accept Jesus into your boat for He has power over every storms of life. PRAYER: Jesus I believe you have power over every storms of my life, be the captain of the sail now and always.
