DAILY WALK October 2, 2013 WHEN TWO OR THREE OR MORE ….. There is an old saying, “God said it, I believe it, and that settles it for me.” Someone wrote that rather than being closed minded, this slogan shows our complete confidence in the Word of God. Jesus said, “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:20 NIV When we think about it we realize that when two or more of us gather in Jesus’ name to honor and worship Him, He is actually present with us in the flesh. He is just as present as we are. We can’t see Him or hear Him, but we know on faith that He is there. Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” We do not actually see Jesus when we gather in His name, but we have the assurance that He is present, because He said He would be with us. As Christians, we are people of faith. We cannot be saved without faith. God honors faith over works or sacrifice. Sit down with a loved one and close your eyes. Can you see that person with your eyes closed? Is that person still there? Can you see Jesus? Is He still there? May Jesus Kiss Your Heart Bill ambassadorsofjoy.org
