DAISYS owner died and now she migth die because of it :( Please share! Dear Daisy sits in her kennel as depression washes over her. Daisy’s a 3-year old German Shepherd mix for whom there is no hope of going home again. Daisy’s owner died and Daisy misses him desperately. She doesn’t understand why she’s locked in this raucous kennel and unable to grieve for her beloved. Daisy tries to cooperate but she is so afraid. She can be coaxed out of her cage but her tail is tucked as a sign of her fear. Foolishly the shelter tried to perform a normal behavior evaluation on this dog who is so emotionally devastated - like poking coals at a huge injury. Daisy allows her head to be cupped in human hands but otherwise she lays curled up and forlorn. Now she’s caught a cold so the “charitable” shelter plans to kill her tomorrow. Do you know someone who could make space for Daisy so that she won’t have to die tomorrow? Because of her fragile state Daisy would do best with an experienced and understanding family that doesn’t include young children. Please advocate on Daisy’s behalf.
