DAISY’S DIARY I’m back for another instalment of the most - TopicsExpress

DAISY’S DIARY I’m back for another instalment of the most thrilling story you’ll ever read – all about what’s happening in MY life! Well, I must say I am not entirely impressed this time around. The person who says she runs the clinic has gone and brought herself a new puppy! And of course she has to show it off to everyone in the clinic. Cue more oohing and aahing and stealing the show away from moi. Now I’ve been told that new pets should be introduced slowly to existing pets. So as so I couldn’t sharpen my claws on the new addition, I was relegated to a separate room from said puppy. As time goes on, and once we get used to each other’s scents (or so they say), the exposure time should be increased gradually, as long as it’s under supervision and there is something to separate us like a crate or gate. You should also make sure that you take into consideration your existing pet’s personality before you purchase a new pet. Some pets, like me, just simply will not tolerate an usurper encroaching on their territory. Well, my treats and bed now call to me, so being the ever so obliging pet I am, I shall answer that call. Until next time. Paws and whiskers, Daisy
