DAMNATION film screening, thurs, 10/23, 7 pm, ASAC 100: The Passumpsic Valley Land Trust and Mad Dog Chapter of Trout Unlimited, along with Lyndon State College and Vermont Natural Resources Council, are hosting a screening of the internationally acclaimed film Damnation, a breath-taking and thought-provoking exploration into our changing attitude in North America about dams and rivers. Immediately following the viewing there will be a guided discussion about the history, benefits and prospects for removal of deadbeat dams in Vermont, led by Kim Greenwood, Water Program Director and Staff Scientist for the Vermont Natural Resources Council. The event will take place this Thursday, October 23, from 7 – 9 p.m. in the Moore Community Room, ASAC 100, at Lyndon State College. The event is open to the general public, free of charge.
