Well done. Remo: The idea was good, the human who wants to fight the inner demon, but it was confusing with style and concept, beats was good. Try to complete all your steps. Madhuri: You are very good actor Ashish, you overcame all shortcomings with your acting. Kudos to you for trying, very good. Title of Article: Ashish Sharmas Rocking Performance on Jhalak! Sometimes the most perfect looking dance has many layers of faults in them which a lay person may miss as they see only the top layer of the performance. You need to look just beneath the surface to understand what were the reason for getting 24 marks for an act that had a lot of potential. Ashish Sharma and Shampa Sonthalia are now looked up to for new concepts and fresh presentations! So todays act wasnt any different in that department, but somewhere the full concept and presentation was not expressed well enough for the judges to connect with! They did get the gist of the concept but there were many things that could have taken it to another height! Like the use of the stage where the dance could have been spread out. The use of a prop like a staff would have added to the steps. But most importantly, when you chose a dance style you have to do justice to it. Paso Doble is the style chosen and this dance style needs a certain body language where the body needs to be held upright. The shoulders back and the stance proper. These were a few things slightly lacking in todays performance as well as the finish of every step that Remo as usual, correctly pointed out. Ashish needs to complete his step and work a bit more on his sync with Shampa. But he uses his acting skills to its hilt as whatever he performs his expressions are faultless. That is one department he gets full marks always and that is his strength too which he uses to the maximum. Overall, a very innovative concept and these marks are gonna be the spring board to a greater performance going forward. The Phoenix shall rise now, watch out.
