DAO Gallery has introduced a new theme for exhibition ... SELFIE STYLIZED. A selfie is a type of self-portrait photograph, typically taken with a hand-held digital camera or camera phone. They are often associated with social networking. They are often casual, taken either with a camera held at arms length or in a mirror. This exhibition moves the selfie to a higher level through stylization and in keeping with serious self-portraits made by photographers and artists. At some point in time, arrangements will be made to translate this online exhibition to a physical one at a local/regional exhibition space.
