DSM letter which agigated for the calling of congress was endorsed by FASA president in person, and not on behalf of FASA, thus illuminating the fact that FASA is not in support causing social unrest in the name of congress as many people presumed on campus. Movement for the Emancipation of Nigerian Students should get it clear and fact that constirutionalism superceeds conventionalism. Student Union is a body under Students Affair Divison of any institution, i stand to be corrected, and the body operates without prejudice to the office of the Students Affair Officer/Dean which you have alleged to have been on a platform of god-fatherism, my question is, do our student leaders /activists understand the concept of ALUTA? We challenge a cause at time wrongly yet we claim to be rational thinker, what then is the essence of education we claimed to acquire? Thuggery is not radicality! Ever conscious Nigerian Students, i stand to be challenged any where on matters that worth it, we seem to be immature in our dealings at times with the management. There is a principle called Managemet By Ojective (MBO) there issues within the school unionism are diplomatically approached and things will be right. Its just simple as that! Comrade Tombellz, i need to expalin some facts here without prejudice to the office you occupy in DSM. Any organisation yet to be registered/re-registerd or revalidated on campus is termed illegal and actions of authorities on the groups in that category is always akward, unfavourable and disheartening. Infact the school presumes that such group are cultist whereas they are not, but since we fail to acknowlege this we will want to believe we are being witch-hunted. I have known DSM when i was in secondary school and no Student Union Government dare their intelligence for they do things rationally following the principle and ethics of what unionism demands, why not sanitize the association for a progressive philosophy? Should Mr. Kokumo Segun Ikuegbebe a.k.a REFORMER, the commander-in-Chief of radical and Aluta forces on campus, calls your group illegal, he is justified beyond any reasonable doubt. Concerning the congress we agigated for, since SEC and SENATE are not at logger heads, why should there be a congress? In the stead of that why not establish a forum with a communiquee forearded to the office of the Vice Chancellor, Dean Students Affairs, S.U.G President and Senate or better still write the Senate President to call an Open sitting, but i disagree with your ideology that your voice must count thus subjecting the authority of the Students Union under your Lordship, sir, it is never done anywhere. I am quite sure that your comrades who are serious minded know that for sure. No Electricity No Light campaign is good but, it cannot be visible at a time like this. Akungba has been in the grave danger of black out ever since inception and i put it to the present administration that until the move to the appropriate quarters, there will be no light. A single hand can bring the light down to this community even without spending his dime. It is experimental. Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Federal College of Agriculture, Akure and School of Health Technology among others can bear the witness of the living voice. Refermer did not subject us to black out neither is it the management but it will remain a black spot on the surface of reality if Professor Femi Mimiko, our dynmaic Vice Chancellor refuse to give us light in this community before his time expires but i want to assure Nigerian Students that come next session, THERE WILL BE LIGHT AND THE ENTIRE AAUAITES SHALL SEE IT, mark me for my words! Finally, to all union leaders on campus and the so-called god-fathers in our respective faculties, let no one despise your youth but be an example to all, in speech, agiation, conduct, faith and purity by these, your light will so shine and the world will see the onions in your, then your voice counts and your rightouesness shall exalt your nation ony at this time the king of Tarshish can offer sacrife and the King of Sheba shall offer gifts, all nations shall then serve your for by so doing you shall have delivered the needy when they cry, the poor and those that have no helper. Come next political phaze, ranging from the second semester, we will continue to sing aloud the song of zion just as it was in Babylon, even in the strange land because the God of ALUTA is on our side, we will not fear what can a man do unto us?
