DARKNESS CANT BLOCK LIGHT. Just returned from being hosted by Pastors Peter and Bev Mortlock and their amazing team of servants at global Global Impact conference. Dr A.R. Bernard an outstanding apostle who used to be in the black Muslim brotherhood BUT now leads a Church that is bringing real change in some of the toughest areas of New York and the world. Pastors Jurgen & Leanne Matthesius from San Diego are ministering in a place close to where drug cartels are doing horrific things to innocent people but they are being light in the darkness of that world. Pastor Kong from Singapore is like a modern day job who is facing persecution and suffering of the most insidious kind and yet he is shining light as he counts it an honour to suffer for Christ. Pastors Peter and Bev brought the challenge to go beyond just talking about being light and salt in the darkness of this world. City impact Church is like a city on a hill shining light not just in Auckland but also into the homes of millions of kiwis every year. Dark days are ahead but if Christ dwells in us then His light through us will grow brighter and brighter…in fact the greater the darkness the greater we shine. The greater the sin the greater the grace. (Rom5:20)
