The working week will include Saturdays on rotation, hours at our Darlington and Richmond branches are:- Monday to Friday 8.00 am - 5.00 pm Saturday mornings 8.30am - 12.30pm Our standard week is 42.5 hours plus Saturdays when worked. Our Company is family owned, established in 1958 supplying mainly hand and power tools to the local area, and nationwide via our website. Essentials for this job include experience in customer service, computer and keyboard literacy, knowledge of or interest in hand and power tools. This is a very busy workplace, there are always jobs to be done, it is therefore extremely important we employ an energetic person with a friendly approachable manner who is able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team. Job Description Assist customers on range, variety & suitability of merchandise for their requirements. Complete transaction on computer system & take payment or charge account. Deal with both face to face, & telephone orders/enquiries. Assist with stock replenishment in showroom & warehouse pricing goods where required. Assist with product displays in showroom. Assist with goods inward checking goods into stock & entering onto computer system & putting away. Assist in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of sales floor & stockroom.
