DARLINGTON CUMMINS Graduate - Customer Support- Salary: £25,750 p.a. Working under the guidance of the OEM Lead Customer Support Manager, the student will be involved in all aspects of the Customer Support group; assisting to provide technical support for Cummins Automotive products and integrated Emission Solution technology throughout Europe. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: · Works with marketing teams to provide general marketing support to achieve and exceed business goals, Helps to develop marketing plans by preparing basic market research and pricing analyses, · Presents data to manager for discussion and interpretation, · Works with leaders to develop marketing communication plans, prepares drafts of marketing communications, · Provides project management support and communicates plans, deadlines, and achievements to project team members, · Learns the role of Marketing on Value Package Introduction project teams as an observer; may support other marketing team members with assigned responsibilities, · Learns the global brand strategy and how to align work products to that strategy, · Learns about relevant marketing and sales systems and processes; collects customer satisfaction data to present to manager for discussion and interpretation, · Learns about relevant channel to support marketing activities, · Teams with and collaborates across regions and business units, · Participates in continuous improvement activities, · Supporting the identification, resolution and implementation of fixes on key product issues with Automotive OEM’s, · Data capture and Warranty claim analysis, · Site visitation and field investigation for potential product issues, · Supporting OEM account teams in finding resolutions to Customer issues, · Develop and implement new department processes. TRAINING PROVIDED: · A comprehensive induction programme, · Other specific training courses as needed for the role. Qualifications SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: · College, university, or equivalent degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or related subject required, · Study of an applicable Engineering degree; Mechanical, Automotive biased. · Minimal relevant work experience required, · Excellent computing skills; Experience with Microsoft Office desirable. · Good team working, communication and task prioritisation. · Technical Automotive background desirable, but not essential.
