DARLINGTON Migration/Rollout Specialist Darlington interim Pay £175-£200 Per Day Hays Information Technology have an exclusive vacancy for a Migration/Rollout Engineer working with a rapidly expanding, market leading global company based in Darlington. The role is a 6 week contract to help complete the rollout and deliver the project within the required timescale. The Role: The role is providing migration support alongside project work on a nationwide company integration and system migration. The client site is based in Darlington, but this role will include extensive UK wide travel from areas as far north as Glasgow, Scotland, as far south as Torpoint, South of England and many different sites in between. Core experience required: Windows Server 2003/2008 Active Directory Windows XP Must have Previous Migration Experience Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Proven ability to investigate and troubleshoot problems Hardware builds and remote software deployment Implementation and Support of Managed Desktop environments Any experience in the below is advantageous: Good Knowledge of Internet/Network Technology Good knowledge of networks; WAN, LAN and Wireless Ability to present ideas in a user-friendly language Experience of a mixed internal and outsourced infrastructure model.
