After hours of listening and narrowing down...Im still stuck on the soundcheck and I have like an hour to finish (depending on time zone) Heres the 9 I wish I had 9 votes for (alphabetical order) - Ill try one more time to eliminate BUT THEYRE ALL SO GOOD! A) Broken Anchor – fun little ditty – 50s/almost surfer feel – like they could tour with Beach Boys B) Seth Glier – a man and his drum – saucy lyrics, simple and driving C) Gdeon Luke & the People – there’s a little Lenny here – love the full band funk and his voice D) Medic – LOVELY – I couldn’t hear this soulful spiritual love song enough E) Startisan – MASH UP – two songs for the Youtube vid of one…Alternate rock with a twist – can see why they toured with One Republic F) Andy Suzuki & the Method – Aww – I gotta call my Mom now. Loved the thoughtful video and song – like I know these kids or something G) Under Great Lights – move over Bruno – this is the whole 9 yards – seriously the whole band rocks a hip & compelling song H) Well Reds – What’cha got – we got it here – melodic funky disco rock – like if James Brown and 311 had a love child/this would be the child’s band I) Brandon Whyde & Devils Keep – Wow – earthy, edgy and grinding with haunting chorus Could we have a tug boat in tow behind the ship with a few more bands than planned? *sigh*
