DATE/TIME: Oct 13 2014 - 1:00pm - 2:00pm LOCATION: Labyrinth Books, 122 Nassau Street Cory Doctorow, a journalist, science fiction writer and co-editor of the popular blog Boing Boing, will discuss his new book with Edward Felten, professor of computer science and public affairs at Princeton University and founder of the Freedom to Tinker blog, in a special off-site event at Labyrinth Books. Doctorow’s “Information Doesn’t Want to Be Free: Laws for the Digital Age is about the pitfalls and opportunities those working in the creative sector are confronting today: how the old models have failed or found new footing, and about what might soon replace them. The book will be a jumping off point for a discussion by the two friends, who are among the best-known and most influential technologists of our time.
