DAVE de KORT TO PAY TRIBUTE TO FILMMAKER MENAHAM Monday 7.00PM dunooncommunityradio.org It is with great sadness we learn of the passing of DCR listener and Dave de Kort supporter Producer-director Menahem Golan The Israeli-born Golan was a showman as well as a filmmaker who worked with his cousin Yoram Globus to form Golan-Globus . Together they churned out a string of successful films of the B-level variety, like Charles Bronson’s Death Wish sequels, The Last American Virgin, and Enter the Ninja. Their action films would have a particular impact, including Chuck Norris’ The Delta Force and Missing in Action, Golan and Globus also courted higher-profile talent, including Sylvester Stallone for Over the Top and Cobra, and properties like Superman IV: The Quest for Peace and Masters of the Universe. Dave de Kort will pay tribute to his celebrity listen in his next programme Monday at 7.00pm
