DAY 13 THE 40 DAY PRAYER CHALLENGE--ONE DAY One day at about three in the afternoon he had a vision. Acts 10:3 BBCS, DO YOU REMEMBER THAT ONE DAY YOU GOT THE VISION TO BECOME A MARTIAL ARTS BLACK BELT, MASTER, GRAND MASTER? HONOR THAT DAY BY YOUR ALL IN WITH GOD, ALL OUT FOR GOD COMMITMENT TO FINISH STRONG IN CHRIST AND TO HIS GLORY. ONE DAY I was on a snowy mountain in Vermont and God gave me a vision for my future. The name of this vision given to me is “the great grand master adventure”. This “One Day” set into motion travels that would take me to Thailand, Brazil, China, Philippians, Israel. For my nest Great Grandmaster Adventure I’m seeking God’s will for what I think will be a U.S. tour of all the PMA schools & visiting some of the great martial arts schools in the U.S., to train in their Martial Arts and to share the gospel uniting all “IN CHRIST. Abroad I am praying for God to lead me to the next country believing for either Okinawa or Japan for the next “grand master adventure”. This One Day that I received this vision from God on that snowy mountain was such a personal vision with a public purpose. Personal because this vision would enlarge my territory by taking me deeper into my Martial Arts experiences and enlarge my faith as He provides the way, the provision, and the vision for future “grand master adventures”. It is public because it’s about connecting & making disciples world-wide in the Great & Mighty name of Jesus Christ! Today’s Draw the Circle message is another one filled with hope, filled with God’s amazing provisions, filled with God. Batterson begins his message with; I love the two-word phrase in Acts 10:3: ONE DAY. He says, “it is pregnant with hope”. Why? Because one day could be today. Today could be the day God answers the prayer, performs the miracle, or keeps the promise! HOPE…In ONE DAY, God can deliver from an addiction that has held a person captive for years. In ONE DAY God can bring back a prodigal child who has run away and been gone for decades. In ONE DAY, God can provide more than someone has accumulated in a life-time. But if we are going to experience a miracle ONE DAY, we need to pray every day…Prayer is like an investment account. Every deposit accumulates compound interest. And ONE DAY, if we keep making deposits EVERY DAY, it will pay dividends beyond our wildest imagination. You may be feeling like me that this message is so timely for you. I’m believing with you and I invite you to pray with me that today could be that ONE DAY where God provides, the vision, the way, the provision for the vision that He has ordained in you and through you and me. I so get Mr. Batterson’s “vision beyond the resources” statement. I’m very encouraged by his reminder that too often we butcher our God-given dreams because we forget the simple fact that God owns the cattle on a thousand hills. We should never be fear motivated where it dictates our decisions. Letting our budget determine our vision is backward. Faith is letting your vision determine your budget. And if your vision is God-given, it will definitely be beyond your ability and beyond your resources. Why? Because then God will get all the glory! He promises that: the God who gives the vision is the same God who makes provision. I close with: IN CHRIST WE CAN ACCOMPLISH MORE IN “ONE DAY” THAN WITHOUT CHRIST IN A LIFE-TIME!!!
