DAY 20 and 21: I am thankful for Dr. Nikolaos Karamitsos!!! He gets two days..... I have worked with him for the past two and a half years. And I know I tease him about being moody and yes I do impersonate him at times lol BUT I have learned so much from this man! He has always had my back, he is the best physician, funny, caring, and has really opened up my mind to new ideas! Tomorrow will be such a sad day for me, yes we have our moments when I know he would like to choke me and visa versa BUT there has always been respect for each-other as a team and we got the job done for our patients. I know he is moving on to bigger and better things but I will miss him terribly ! He has been more than my boss, he has been my math tutor, he has made sure Carolines picture got taken when I had to miss awards days, he has counseled me, educated me on a WHOLE LOT, and who else is going to listen to Daft Punk with me and appreciate it??? He is my good friend as well..... He is loyal! I feel very fortunate to have been able to be his nurse while he was here! He has the most beautiful family and were losing them too :-( God is ALWAYS on time though!!! :-)
