DAY 21 Verse: Romans 8:6-8 So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will. That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God. MY THOUGHTS-Letting our sinful nature control us leads to death. But if we allow the Spirit to control our minds it leads to life and peace. The sinful nature has always disobeyed God and always will. This is why we cannot please God by following our sinful nature. How does this apply to my life?-We spend our life trying to please God instead of turn our life over to Him. Trying is a negative. It is approaching a situation with a possibility of a negative result. Let me show you this way. If you complete a job do you want to get paid or tried to get paid. God does not want us to try He wants us committed to serving Him. The Reason we never change is commitment. Are you committed to serving God? This does not mean you will not make mistakes. Mistakes do not mean you are not committed it means we are not perfect!!
