DAY 223 : Darkness in Darchula We reached Darchula at around 8PM in the evening. Even though it was really dark where we were, the opposite side was bright and looked more buzz-worthy! We were told that was India and yes, the town is also called Darchula there. Just a slight difference in spelling and pronunciation I believe. Oh what a difference a river and a border makes. The settlement does look a whole lot brighter compared to the darkness that were in right now. I dont know if Ive stated how grateful I am to receive this opportunity to go on field, explore, see more of Nepal and meet people along the way... I am. I thank you. This field trip is turning out to be a lot more efficient compared to the previous. The bee-keeping and honey making enterprise really seems to be a great thing for the micro-entrepreneurs and I can see it when the dais and didis talk about it. Their eyes sparkles and a genuine warm smile takes over as they tell their story.
