DAY 26 – Twist and grow Well done to all of you following the challenge and coming to your peaceful spot day after day. I think we deserve a nice twist again as a present for our spines. :) Step 1: In your calm spot lie down on your back with a straight body and find your breath here for a few seconds. Step 2: Bend both of your knees and place your feet with big toes touching on the ground close to your buttocks. Step 3: Reach up with your arms to lenghthen the spine and breath here for a moment. Extend the arms to the sides, both shoulders are grounded. Step 4: Now very slowly and gently inhale and on the exhale start to turn your knees to the left and look to the right. Stay here and catch the rythm of twisting again, inhale and lenghten, exhale and twist gently. Your left knee may or may not reach the ground, it does not matter. The most important is that you keep your shoulders grounded. Stay with your breath and hold the pose until it feels good. Step 5: Before coming back, inhale and on the exhale slowly and gently bring your knees to the center. Repeat the pose to the other side also, I always suggest to start by lengthening the spine first and then go to the other side.
